As if I need an introduction: Cheeehooo! As you already know, I am Logotaeao (Filiaga) Atuaia's son. She punked me into registering, thus I obey. Man, why wasn't I born Palagi--they don't have to deal with this sort of thing! Aghhhhhhh! I guess the penny-pinching starts in preparation for next year's festivities. In all seriousness, I am happy this is happening and I hope all continues to roll smoothly.Ia manuia tatou aiga atoa! Mark
hhhhmmmm..........many of kudos to google.com that tackled my curiousity at http://www.suapaiafamilyreunion2009.com it was reason enough after typing my first name with results of 3 pulusila's; took another chance, typed my mother's first name and maiden name filiaga - that alone continued my search that intensified my curiousity - 4 results transmitted my search of maria filiaga (maria is mother's name) that led me to his site!!!! thanks to maria filiaga listed on the guest book with her message.....that concluded my curiousity concerning the origin of my first name (maria filiaga listed on this guest book list of which I am assuming is my aunt - my mother's name is maria as well) i have spoken to aunty logo and uncle aiva via telephone once in the past - unfortunately with limited time on my hands i was unable to meet her or any of the filiaga family....mother rarely speaks of the filiaga side - i've questioned it in the past - unsure of which manner at how to approach that side of the family - i've never met my grandfather or any of his family - i am named after grandfather - but unfortunately and sadly enough i never met him !!!!amazing at how one can identify let alone quantify the origin or root of a name by the split second of a click on the world wide web....now that i have identified the existence of my name....i would want now to absorb the root and branches of my name "pulusila" - thank you!!!**** Hello all my name is Pulusila; Brooklyn, New York is my home - I travel 5 times out of the year - It is a must at the last leg of my travels I visit Hawaii the ending of every year and spend the last 3 months of every year in Hawaii. I am a freelance journalist - my niche is history and religion. As a surprise I am currently working with a partner on disecting and identifying the translation of the bible from it's original precepts and form from the hebrew language to the english language - considering that religion is a powerful force and belief with this family - this is not only a surprise but a coincidence *i'm completely stoked* !!!!!Now considering that a freelance journalist does not please the means of my financial burdens at times; i am also a public accountant.**** I am filled with excitement as I write this!!! I do have the tendency to steer off subject when filled with excitement......I'f you have any questions feel free to email me at anytime!!!A little bit more about me. I am identified and observed at by different people with different definitions as to how they merit my stature. Some convoluted; some well reserved - for the most part scathing. Mother would always say that I am stubborn - Mother is mother and I love her dearly. I am free spirited Pulusila; soulfully and desireably I enjoy it and live it happily that way :-)Mother would spramp comments at how I am the image of grandfather Pulusila. I obviously wouldn't know; yet that remains to be seen or told by others besides mother. I do hope to meet many of you real soon. I do wish you all a blessed thanksgiving and holiday filled with tales of love with family for family and generations of happiness and humility.Thank youPulusilapulusila@gmail.com

Hopefully one day my 7 siblings and I will meet everyone! God Bless!

Hi Family, pain Just an update on us here in Spain. We just got back from Greece, being on hoilday and it was truly wonderful. We have a sailboat there and I am sure your asking yourself why not in Spain? Well that is easy because Greece has so many Islands to see. You can stop on some and others not but in all it has a rich history as well and the sea is so clear you can see so many feet down. Something I remember having in Hawaii when i was a kid. The food is good but mind you after a week you are need something new LOL. In all we had a great and was great to see our good friends again. Well I am off and hopes everyone is well and in good health. take care and god bless. Smooches
Talofa family from Los Angeles,Isn't the website beautiful? Namele has done a great job of organizing and bringing us all together to plan the big reunion. The monthly meetings bring us closer together as the sweet spirit of our Heavenly Father and our ancestors guide our discussions and decisions. As a family, we've grown so large that some of you are 4-5 generations from grandfather Saimasina and you've not had a chance to meet most of the extended family members. Our LA family reunion planning meetings are full of tears, laughter and pure joy. Oh, and great food too! Last week we heard cousins Murphy (Kipeni) & Nina's story of how their son (Justin Utah) met a palagi man at a church training who said that his ancestor served on a mission in Western Samoa and knew Saimasina well. His family has preserved the stories of Saimasina's faith and church work. There are old journals and pictures of Saimasina. We all cried with joy as we listened to the story. So, that's why you don't won't to miss out! See you next year!Alofa tele...Marie Ma'o (Alamoni)

Fa'alili's mother is Mao (my mums namesake) which Mao is the daughter of Fagatapu.
