Reunion, 2009 I

This is the first album of pictures from the 2009 reunion. It includes Day 1, Registration/Family Introductions/Ice Breakers... Day 2, Genealogy Presentation & Workshop, Sports/Tug-o-War at the park, 1st Night Talent Show.

Reestablishing our roots to our culture... reconnecting with one another... what a wonderful reunion we just experienced.

After dinner, the Activities Committee planned a number of ice breakers for us to get to meet one another. Well... there are no shy people in this family... everyone got up and participated, young and old. Did I mention PRIZES? You know how competitive ou

The Kipeni Clan was the largest faletama at the reunion. This is just one faletama out of eight.

KIPENI Clan Talent Show Rehearsal - After our meals, everyone would spend time visiting or in this case, the Kipeni family chose to rehearse their family number.

The Kipeni side (look at all that orange) is now taking the stage. Each side was called up... to line up... and then their spokesperson would introduce their faletama to the audience.

This ice breaker was so nuts. Lega was shouting out groups - 3 girls and 2 guys... then you had to hook-up with the right combo in order to stay in the game. As you can see... everyone is laughing their heads off. It was so much fun just to watch everyone
