What's Your Faletama's Color?

Starting with the 2009 California Reunion, each faletama was given a color to represent all of those family members who are decendants of their ancestor, be it Salatielu, Fasi, Salu, Samila, Tinei, Sifou, Alamoni or Kipeni.

We thought it would be a fun idea to have a color represent each faletama as an easy way to identify each group.  It caught on and from that point forward, each side usually plans a t-shirt in the appropriate color to wear during the reunion.  You can even wear just your regular clothes of the same color just to carry the "solidarity" forward.  It's intended to just be fun and easy.

So here is the list of the faletamas and the color they were assigned.
  • Salatielu -- Royal Blue
  • Fasi -- Red
  • Salu -- Green
  • Samila -- Light Blue
  • Tinei -- Yellow
  • Sifou -- Brown
  • Alamoni -- Hot Pink
  • Kipeni -- Orange
  • Kiata -- Purple
  • Main 2019 Reunion T-Shirt -- White
We are aware that there are other faletamas that are not assigned a color yet (ie. Limalau, Fagatapu, Malo, Vini, etc.).  If you would like to choose a color not taken, that's fine with us.  Just let us know so that we can post it here.  That way, the members of your family will know what they need to get in order to participate.

We want to emphasis that this is strictly voluntary.  You do not have to do this if you don't want to. But trust me, when you look around the room and see others wearing their family color, it really is fun to know which faletama is which, and to see all those who descend from the same ancestor as you.

As we say in California... "REPRESENT!!!"
