Alamoni Clan -- This was the first night... introducing each faletama. Each faletama was given a color to wear... to make each side recognizable. Alamoni was purple, Tinei was yellow, Fasi was Red, Samila was light blue, Salu was green, Sifou was white, Kipeni was orange, Salaatielu was navy blue, Saimasina`s uncles and aunts was brown and Saimasina`s sisters and brothers were turquoise.

The Kipeni side (look at all that orange) is now taking the stage. Each side was called up... to line up... and then their spokesperson would introduce their faletama to the audience.
The Kipeni Clan was the largest faletama at the reunion. This is just one faletama out of eight.

After the introduction portion of the program, everyone was invited to go outside for dinner. We ate our meals in the grassy area just off of the kitchen. It was always so nice to enjoy a meal in the fresh air and to mill about talking to family members that we hadn`t seen in so long. Our meals were always tasty and topped off every evening with ice cream and toppings. Yum!

After dinner, the Activities Committee planned a number of ice breakers for us to get to meet one another. Well... there are no shy people in this family... everyone got up and participated, young and old. Did I mention "PRIZES?" You know how competitive our family is. Well, duh!... everyone was out to WIN. So you can just imagine the craziness!!! It was so hilarious!

This ice breaker was so nuts. Lega was shouting out groups - 3 girls and 2 guys... then you had to hook-up with the right combo in order to stay in the game. As you can see... everyone is laughing their heads off. It was so much fun just to watch everyone enjoy themselves.

What a great picture! Here is the youngest member of the family (in her grandmother, Dorothy`s arms) participating with one of the oldest members of the family (Auntie Stella Reid>Alamoni) in the ice breakers. One other note, when Lega was calling out the groups, things got a little rough (as you can imagine) so she shouted "look out for Auntie Stella!" `cause Stella was in the middle of it... not backing down one bit. So Stella ended up getting pushed down so the boys picked her up fast, dusted her off and she was back in the game. Btw, she ended up winning a prize so it just goes to show, you gotta hang in there to win. Hurrah for Auntie Stella! You`re a champ!
